Circling the Wagons? Christie Has No Public Schedule On Tuesday

It likely means nothing. But it could mean everything, too.

While Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno spends Tuesday afternoon touring a pair of New Jersey-based companies, Governor Christie’s press department announced that he has “no public schedule” for the entire day.

DISCLAIMER: It’s not at all unusual for a governor to have zero “public” appointments for either personal or “getting-caught-up-at-work” reasons. But yes, it is a little more unusual in the middle of the work week, and given rampant speculation that a FINAL yes (or no) on a 2012 Christie presidential candidacy is imminent, your Blogger-in-Chief fully expects this latest factoid to fuel the growing DRAFT CHRISTIE wildfire.

Don’t expect a huge Tuesday announcement or anything dramatic. I just wouldn’t be surprised if tomorrow’s itinerary contains some high level strategy pow-wows up Mendham way…
