NJEA 2012 Endorsements

I don’t really care who the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) wants me to support on Election Day, Save Jerseyans. Neither do you.

Some of you, however, will find the union’s 2012 endorsements instructive. Because you’re smart and engaged, right? New Jersey’s largest teacher’s union is slightly hobbled in the Christie Era but still a cash cow with money to burn both this year and next. In other words, the NJEA’s priorities should be your concerns!

And they include:

  • One (1) presidential endorsement for a guy who sends his kids to a ritzy private school
  • Only one (1) Republican out of Fourteen (14) individual endorsements made
  • One (1) Congressman currently under an ethics cloud
  • One (1) legislative endorsement in an uber-competitive special election
  • Two (2) notable non-endorsements

  1. FYI, Marie Corfield is a registered active NJEA member. For whatever that's worth at this point. She's the dingbat that got her butt served on the Gov's first youtube moment for not having the proper information. What that means for the rest of us is that she's a supporter of the massive Big Education establishment that takes away from teachers and students.
