We received confirmation earlier this evening that the final 33,000 American “surge” troops have left their forward positions in Afghanistan.
That might’ve been a net positive with swing voters up until two weeks ago.
Not so sure about now if the latest polling results are accurate. Obama’s “Cairo Doctrine” has collapsed.
While the Media celebrates this inglorious Afghani withdrawal milestone on our nation’s shameful road of global retreat, anti-American protests continue to rage outside our consulates, the federal government is using our tax dollars to pay for apology ads in Pakistan, our military is poised to suffer devastating defense cuts next year that both parties have condemned, and the Obama Administration can’t even internally adjudicate whether our Libyan ambassador was killed by terrorists. Maybe because the President continues to skip intelligence briefings? But turn on any nightly network broadcast and they’re still myopically focused on alleged “problems” inside the Romney campaign.
This Administration’s weakness invites those who wish to do America harm, Save Jerseyans. It’s no less true now than it was in 2004 when the Bush/Cheney campaign ran this TV spot:
