New Jersey Hurricane Sandy Shelters

Don’t take a chance, Save Jerseyans.

Visit www.ready.gov and prepare yourself NOW for Hurricane Sandy (especially those of you in the Shore counties). We’ll do our best on this end to post information from officials. If you can’t safely shelter in your own home, and you can’t stay with friends, family, or a hotel at a safe distance, then please rely on one of the state-run or Red Cross-operated shelters; optimally, do so before the storm arrives in order to minimize the risk to yourself and first responders.

  2. If you haven't purchased shoes in the recent past it would be a good idea to measure your feet before buying basketball shoes. The shoe sizes of growing kids obviously can change very fast. Yet your shoe size can change even as an adult, when you may assume you've finished growing. Any store that offers basketball shoes is prepared to measure your feet and give you a proper fitting shoe. When you try on your basketball shoes, remember that they should fit securely but not uncomfortably tight. If your shoe fits loosely in any way you need to keep looking.

To find the best basketball shoes for your next pair, you need to remember the above suggestions. Just as an extension of your body, that is what your shoes should feel like.
