POLL: Who Won the Vice Presidential Debate?

The Vice Presidential debate is over, Save Jerseyans.

My initial reaction? I’m glad Joe Biden thinks a nuclear Iran, the worst economy since the Great Depression and my grandmother’s health care are absolutely hilarious… let’s see how his inability to control himself plays with undecided voters.

For now, let’s hear from you. Vote and opine:

  1. Biden came across as straight up disrespectful out of the gate. He was combative. I felt like I was watching a cranky old grandpa yelling at and constantly interrupting a polite young man. Generally, Biden is likeable but tonight he was rude.

  2. Biden was not laughing at the topic, he was laughing at the responses given by a clearly inferior opponent. You may not like Biden's approach, but read the fact checker blogs tomorrow and you will not like what is said about the Romney/Ryan stance.

  3. What Biden did was try to distract people from the facts. When there was some vague or contestable points by Ryan, then Biden was serious and on point. When there was stuff not going his way, Biden tried to make it look laughable. My opinion… Ryan 54%, Biden 46%. But… That is ignoring Bidens rudeness.

  4. Biden was so irritating and clearly trying to make up for last week's presidential debate. All the laughing with such serious issues on the table was infuriating. R & R seem to have it much more together and are taking the debates seriously…as are the voters. I wish Ryan hadn't gotten interrupted so much from Biden and the lady asking the questions. The Republican team is strong. As for everyone jumping on the 47% bandwagon…..Romney must care and feel he could do a better job as president. It's not as if he's fighting for the presidency for the money. He already has more money than he'd ever make as a president! R & R ….. Hope to see you both in office soon.

  5. The first presidential debate was far more substantive and valuable than this vp debate was. Ryan was too timid, and Biden was flat out rude and annoying. All the interrupting made the whole thing irritating.

In the end, Ryan was less irritating than Biden, he wins by default.

  6. The VP did his job of being combative at the expense of being rude & argumentative. I think he help more swing voters make up their minds.

Ryan made several good points & helped portray a clear contrast.

  7. Biden was rightfully indignant. Ryan was well rehearsed, but seemed to lack much moral conviction about what he was saying. The moderator was like a tough appellate court judge who held both's feet to the fire. Very enjoyable debate. Advantage: Biden.

  8. Pathetic performance by a sitting vice president. There's nothing funny about 23,000,000 unemployed Americans.

  9. Our Vice President was rude, disruptive and belligerent–all to deflect the facts and the poor performance of the Obama administration. Martha Raddatz was a horrible moderator and frequently exercised no control over the debate.

I also believe the questions were skewed to draw populist support to the Democrats. Most notable was the question on religion and abortion. This was totally inappropriate. Both men have long track records on their public life that are well known and easily measured by any American wishing to hold them up to their personal religious, moral or ethical beliefs.

  10. First point: No one, and I mean NO ONE, is inferior to Joe Biden. If you think Biden is superior to Ryan, see a psychologist or perhaps a psychiatrist.

Here is a fact checker for you Mr. Get a Clue. Biden lied through his many teeth about the intelligence from the attack in Benghazi. He claims that he and Obama were never advised that more security was requested from that region. If he is telling the truth, then he and Obama must have the worst state department in history and there must be a total detachment between O&B and their own state department. Nevertheless, any such breakdown is this administrations fault. As Harry Truman once said "the buck stops here." All Obama and Biden and their administration is deny, lie, and blame someone or something else. His denial doesn't come close to passing the smell test. Either way, neither Obama or Biden are fit to sit in the oval office. Neither has a clue as to what is going on overseas. They both need to be run out of office once and for all.
