Obama to Deliver State of the Union Address Followed by Republican Response from Marco Rubio

We know the U.S. economy and labor markets aren’t doing well under the current regime, Save Jerseyans, and despite the fact that Nancy Pelosi doesn’t see a spending problem, you and I weren’t sleeping the other day when it was announced that the Federal Reserve’s holdings of U.S. government debt are up 257% under President Obama. Ugly stuff! But all of the hard numerical data in the world won’t stop President Obama from demanding more “revenues” during his 5th State of the Union address tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST.
The Democrats simply won’t admit there is a problem! Because they’re led by an ideologue who is determined to “change” the country into a European-style social democracy even if his “reforms” destroy the economy in the process. And the Republicans seem unable to articulate the solution in such a manner as to attract majority support and reverse the tide.
The state of our Union is weakening, folks. Frail. Tenuous. Perhaps more so than any other time since 1861.
Will President Obama surprise us tonight and get serious at long last? Can Marco Rubio’s GOP response finally strike a chord with the deflated American electorate?
