2013 is starting to look eerily similar to 1973, Save Jerseyans. President Obama’s scandals are piling up fast and furiously (pardon the pun), and the latest revelations make Richard Nixon look like a choir boy. Hope and change are giving way to increasingly bipartisan calls for congressional hearings.
I think Lou Dobbs captured the sentiments of this President’s detractors (and many of his disillusioned supporters) earlier Monday after the President’s IRS presser:

Let’s just try to be smart about this, folks.
Opposition parties rarely affect positive change through impeachment hearings. What we can do constructively in the face of rampant corruption and abuse of power is use the House’s tremendous oversight powers to shine a light on this Administration’s many, many sins ahead of the critical November 2014 elections; that’s how Teddy Kennedy & co. cooked Nixon’s goose long before articles of impeachment became a real possibility.
Don’t let your emotions get in the way of the greater good, conservatives… focus!
