Governor Chris Christie is headed to Colorado next Thursday, Save Jerseyans, as millions of Americans (with the notable exception of this year’s special Senate contest combatants) attempt to beat the heat by commencing their summer holidays.
Christie also participated in last year’s Aspen Institute panel of GOP Governors discussing issues of national important; this year he’ll be joined by Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Governor Pat McCrory of North Carolina, Governor Mike Pence of Indiana, and Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin.
Here’s a taste of what’s to come from last year’s event when both Jindal and Christie weighed-in on “assault” weapon bans following the shooting in Aurora, Colorado:

Aside: Gov.
