The U.S. Senate voted to advance to a final vote on the continuing resolution, Save Jerseyans.
The final vote: 79-19.
The only Republicans who voted NAY: Crapo, Cruz, Enzi, Fischer, Grassley, Heller, Inhofe, Lee, Moran, Paul, Portman, Risch, Roberts, Rubio, Scott, Sessions, Shelby, Toomey and Vitter.
Among those voting YEA on cloture was Sen. Jeff Chiesa (R-NJ). Mike Lee had previously predicted that Chiesa would support their cause. No such luck.
Harry Reid now has the ability to strip ObamaCare defunding language from the CR.
I’m sure the Senate feels good about itself with so much bipartisan support for cloture. ‘Cause that’s an end justifying the means, right? Now its members can enjoy a weekend of golf, strippers and steakhouses while the rest of us pay higher premiums, face reduced shifts at work and wonder what the hell happened to this great country. God Bless America…
He's a very good soldier. I'm sure Comrade Christie has promised him a very special place in his White House. You follow orders very well, Mr. Chiesa. Can someone please explain to me what the difference is between dems and reps in this Godforsaken state? Anybody want to buy a house?
Another Jersey JerkOff! Him and Menendez ought to spoon with Obama and Booker.
COWARD! And I emailed him to tell him so!!!
