#NJSen Race Tightens Again

Booker

A new poll shows Cory Booker (D-Twitter) with a shrinking lead over Steve Lonegan (R-Bogota) with only 48 hours to go, Save Jerseyans.

Monmouth University’s most recent survey reports that Booker leads by 10-points, 52% to 42%. The next most-recent Monmouth Poll saw Booker leading by 13-points.

A growing number questions concerning Cory Booker’s character and out-of-state sojourns while Newark languishes seem to be driving Booker’s downward polling trend.

“Concerns about Cory Booker’s intentions to serve New Jersey continue to persist and his favorability ratings continue to drop,” opined poll director Patrick Murray. “At the same time, voters clearly prefer Booker’s political views over Lonegan’s. The message seems to be that Garden State voters don’t like to feel that their support is being taken for granted,” said Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute.”

10-points is nevertheless an objectively solid lead with  only 48 hours left to go before voters head to the polls. Lonegan must now hope that this turnout model is closer to reality than what the public pollsters are predicting.

  2. It is not over 'til the fat lady sings! Praying for honest election sites, although seeing corruption first hand at the polls, I believe in voter photo ID's for a very, very good reason.
