Not planning on voting tomorrow because you don’t “like” Steve Lonegan, Save Jerseyans?
That’s nice. But you should know that President Obama and his flunkies are showing up regardless of whether you’re there; he cut this web video on Monday to help the campaign GOTV efforts of Cory Booker (D-Twitter):
The best part of the video: when POTUS declares that Cory Booker is a “leader” with “uncommon character.” If that was supposed to be a joke, Mr. President, then you should know that we’re not laughing.
Here’s a translation of the President’s remarks: when Barack Obama’s campaign team told him to recant his criticism of a slanderous anti-Romney ad in 2012, full-time tweeter and part-time Mayor Booker dutifully shot a “hostage video” and behaved thereafter like a good little solider.
Uncommon cowardice is more like it.
The President’s formulation is unsurprisingly off-the-mark. Our real #njsen choice tomorrow (Wed. 10/16) couldn’t be any clearer: do we want a country where you get up every day to work for yourself, your family and your community? Or for the government and its growing class of dependents?
You’re not voting for class president, folks.
This is a contest of ideas versus celebrity. Vote accordingly.
