Let’s see if you can figure out what’s wrong with this picture:
Assemblyman Patrick Diegnan (D-Middlesex), chairman of the Assembly Education Committee, will conduct hearings this month to investigate how New Jersey private schools for disabled students spend tax dollars. The allegation, according to the Star-Ledger, is that these schools “were able to spend taxpayer money in ways public schools cannot, fueling nepotism, high salaries, generous pensions, fancy cars and questionable business deals.”
There are 180 privately-operated schools for children with disabilities in New Jersey, folks, and if some of them are really misusing taxpayer funding, then Chairman Diegnan should have all of our support in grilling their rear ends over it.
Did you catch the “wrong” part? I’ll give it away: what about waste at New Jersey’s 2,492 public schools? Many of which have been repeatedly caught wasting taxpayer cash on any number of absurdly frivilous or outlandish expenditures? I may’ve missed it, Save Jerseyans, but I’ve yet to see the Democrats hold hearings to scrutinize The Cartel film‘s findings!
Why? Trenton Democrats don’t care a lick about waste, Save Jerseyans. That’s the dirty little secret. What they can’t truly abide are private educational institutions receiving tax dollars; it’s antithetical to their warped ideology. I just want you to understand this crucial difference.
