AFP-NJ supporters rallied outside of Trenton AFL-CIO headquarters on a beautiful spring Saturday, Save Jerseyans, and their message was simple:
New Jersey’s minimum wage hike is holding everyone back. Big Labor’s membership included.

Combating minimum wage demagoguery is trivial. Just counter-propose to raise minimum wages to $100/hr. If they insist on screwing the country raw, let them do it quicker so it’d hurt less.
Theodore Gonzalez you forgot to add the part that a majority of min. wage workers are teenagers and college students – not those supporting a family. Minimum wage jobs are a stepping stone for those just starting out. A majority increase their salary after the first year on the job. Stop spreading myths.
