Another potential 2016 presidential contender is coming through the Garden State, Save Jerseyans.
Dr. Ben Carson, the renowned pediatric neurosurgeon and NY Times Best-Selling Author who made national headlines by criticizing Obamacare (to the President’s face) at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, will serve as the keynote speaker at the May 16th New Jersey Right to Life annual banquet in New Brunswick.

Dr. Carson continues to stir the passions of many conservatives searching for a leader in a muddled primary field. He recently finished 3rd in a New Hampshire GOP straw poll and tied for 4th in an Iowa public poll. The Super PAC RunBenRun.org reportedly “raised $4 million toward a Carson bid for the Republican nomination and has collected 200,000 signatures for a petition to get him to join the race.”
Ben Carson doesn’t believe in the 2nd amendment in NJ. I will pass. “It depends on where you live. I think if you life in the midst of a lot of people, and I’m afraid that that semi-automatic weapon is going to fall into the hands of a crazy person, I would rather you not have it.”
He believes that certain guns should be banned. Sorry doc! That’s a deal breaker!
Welcome to NJ Dr.Ben. Hopefully you can expound on your recent comments how the USA is very much like Nazi Germany. I must have missed the trainloads of Jews and undesirables being whisked away to concentration camps.
You haven’t missed them yet. You’ll be given a chance to participate, comrade.
A resounding NO to Ben Carson, or anyone else who does not respect the 2nd Amendment. If he wants to run, let him find a district where people who similar contempt for citizens’ inalienable rights.
He will never get my vote….he is another Pro Life Fanatic and that is a real deal breaker.
Pro-life fanatic? Yeah, arguing that babies have a right to live is a truly radical concept!
Great. A neurosurgeon who benefitted from a variety of liberal policies and repudiates said policies and believes neither in physics (the world is 6000 years old) nor evolutionary biology. Nice choice. He should run with Sarah Palin – that would be a hoot!
