  1. If you agree that Washington is broke, and the state has no money to spread around, you need to find ways to get money into the economy. Community banks, supporting small businesses, cannot deliver that money to most businesses.

This summer, as our kids are looking for jobs, our friends are looking for jobs, and even our parents are looking for jobs, everyone is wondering where all the jobs have gone.

As we see Obama become less relevant, Christie trying to explain the painful realities of shrinking revenues and local officials struggling to pay for needed services, we are eager to find the culprit.

We can blame waste, fraud and abuse only so much. There must be a higher power strangling growth and Jeff Bell has spent his life pointing to the fuzzy outline in the media haze and calling attention to the menace that it could become.

He arrives back on the political scene at exactly the time the gargantuan monster is revealed to the masses. He is vindicated for the years his calls have been ignored, and people are rallying around a champion who can take on the unelected bureaucracy that threatens our lifestyle and hope for the future.

For years, the Federal Reserve has been telling Congress, “These are not the droids you are looking for”. Congress, the only body which can control them, has such a weak mind that they believe this simple lie and give it a pass.

    Not Jeff Bell.

He sees the problem and is asking for our help to fix it.

Unlike Cory Booker, he does not have a weak mind. He is focused on finding the choke point that is stifling job growth, wage growth and hopes for opportunity in the future.

This is a year for New Jersey to look past the need for someone who ‘brings home the bacon’ to somebody who can fix the farm, so everyone can have bacon.

That’s a simple argument. People complain that the government is broken, and Booker has no answer for that.

We have the solution in front of us.

    It’s clear as a Bell.

  2. .

Dr. Brat showed that an intelligent debate about free markets and fiscal policy can win against overwhelming odds and political mudslinging; I pray that New Jersey is as smart as Virginia.

But I’m not holding my breath…

  3. Why are we talking about Jeff Bell? He’s a worthless candidate. Couldn’t win in Wyoming. We should be talking about the Tom MacArthurs of the world – people who have a decent chance to win but could certainly use some help – not guaranteed losers like Jeff Bell. Let’s face it, with Pezzullo and Goldberg defeated, Cory Booker is unstoppable in 2014.

  4. We’re not talking about Tom MacArthur, because he’s nothing to get excited about. He has enough money that he could have run independent of the machine, but instead he decided to go out there and French kiss George Gilmore & Bill Layton. Besides, look at what he stands for – he’s a big government guy all the way. No wonder why Gilmore & Layton like him so much. Look at the “Republicans” they usually support: tax hiking, big spending liberals – the whole lot of them.

  5. You bet he could win that! It is not a Big government Republican or Democrat issue, it is a We the People pro Constitution, Civil Liberty, free Market issue, that is at the heart of what is wrong with the economy. The economy is the #1 issue right now in this state, and the Fed and big government spending on both sides has caused it. Now that is what candidates should be talking about if they are going to be problem solvers, not crony capitalists!

  6. Rich, you have stated the problem and the answer so succinctly. I have just read your comments today….it has taken a long time for them to reach me 😉

But I heard you express them eloquently at the Shackamaxon Country Club fundraiser for Jeff Bell
last week. It was good to see you in Cherry Hill yesterday, too. And it is so encouraging to see you
so supportive of Jeff and conservative principles.

    Thank you,

    Georgette Denlinger
