Would You Support Christie’s Run?

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

Questions remain but, it could be argued, Governor Chris Christie gets a little stronger every day that the U.S. Attorney’s office is silent.

But a clean Bridgegate “bill of health” is only part of the equation. A recent poll showed the Governor close to even with Hilldawg right here in N.J. He still needs to get through a primary first. Folks like you will be voting, and you know him best… so… vote and leave a cogent comment below explaining your vote…

Just taking your temperature:

  1. No. After appointing Chivukula and Fox and now to hear that he’s raising the gas tax, I see no reason to support him. All he’ll do is continue the 8 years of Obamanomics and continue the 8-year malaise.

  2. No way, so many things he could have done on the regulatory end to help small businesses. Not very pro 2nd amendment

  3. Only if Kim Guadagno resigns, first, and then only if CC also resigns to run. Then, I would do everything I could to send him to the showers in the primary. That would be a winning strategy for New Jersey’s future.

    Sorry, but you asked.

NO – I would not support Chris Christie for President.

  4. Everything that Obama wanted to do to help build this country up they denied him n let him have pety things. This country is not really ran by a president but the house if representatives, the congress. If it’s not about making the rich richer n putting the lower classes lower then it’s not beneficial to this country. People talk bad about what they don’t know or what they don’t care about. Obama wanted to get into office to make the country better not just for a certain group of people. You can’t blame him because they don’t want him to succeed.

  5. And what about the years that Obama had Congress….and the Senate? Selective memory? America spoke in 2010 as we did NOT want Obama’s Policy’s and the biggest route in congressional history took place. The House is doing EXACTLY what they were elected to do. Perhaps the fact that Obamacare negotiations took place behind closed doors, with lots of private deals and then voted on over a weekend gave Americans a clue that perhaps this was something to be concerned about.

  6. Perhaps…if his opponent is Hillary or almost any other Democrat…but I would prefer a stronger GOP candidate.

  7. So he can appoint more useless pieces of shit, such as Cami Anderson to high positions?? Hell effin no..

  8. Only in the “worst case scenario” if he gets GOP nomination, which I hope would never be the case

  9. I’m going to change my registration just so I can work against him in the primary. Revenge is a dish best served cold….

  10. I think I could, depending on the other choices. I do not want an ultra conservative Republican to run, and lose!

  11. Rick you aren’t even considering the fact that the Republican Party is in worse shape which I think the president needs to building the party

  13. Nope he sold essex county down the river. He is unwilling to go after Joe D, Cory Booker, and a whole host of essex county officials. Do you think that the Election commission should have verified that Cory Booker was living in Newark? Or what about the watershed project, and how about Joe D’s campaign funds.

  15. Toc, Obama had both houses of Congress for his first two years and made things WORSE! And that was done on purpose.

  17. Marc, the Port Aurthoity toll increases had NOTHING to do with COrzine. As for the NJTPK and GSP, if a Corzine executive order put those toll increases in place, a Christie executive order could have undone them. But Christie LIKES spending money. Remember, the first time he ran, he railed against Corzines tax increases and when he ran against Buono, he railed against her 120+ votes to increase taxes; BUT, Christie has failed to roll-back a single tax increase about which he complained. Why? Because he likes spending the money.

  19. No, as a Republican I am so disappointed. No homestead rebate , my property taxes have gone up tremendously, his picks for the bench are liberals. We had to drag him away from reggi. He did not join the class action on obamacare. No

  20. Hell No git outta here with that crap i’d vote for bozo and mickey mouse before this fat bastard.

  21. Sorry, but he hasn’t proven himself worthy of that position. This country is having enough trouble….

  22. No! He was in Mexico and did not even have a conversation with Mexico’s president about getting our US Marine out of jail. I used to be a Christie supporter, no more! That was an opportunity to show leadership and dedication to the U.S., missed opportunity…no support for Christie from me!

  23. Shaneen Allen and the AC Judge/Prosecutor fiasco is a prime example of Christie just being a stateist who is just throwing the tax payers of NJ to wolves of the Bondholders at Goldman-Sachs. He’s on the job to make sure that the Bond debt is secure…..

  24. Nick: don’t tell anyone about the wolf in sheep’s clothing…He’s Jon Corzine with the bank Account..LOL

  25. What other choices does the true working class conservatives really have? Would it be better to have a weak candidate loose to Hillary??

  26. Absolutely not. He is a Rhino big time. I was born and raised in NJ and might be returning. Don’t trust him as far as I can spit between my teeth. There are MANY other candidates from the GOP that would win and do a better job.
