Harry Reid’s acquiescence to a vote on the long-languising Keystone XL Pipeline couldn’t save Mary Landrieu, Save Jerseyans. Nothing can. Cory Booker (D-Twitter) fancies himself a superhero but even he knows that.
He still gave it a shot over the weekend, campaigning in areas heavily-populated by black Democrat base voters:
Here’s my question for Sen. Booker: can you give black voters one good, honest, factually-based reason to vote for Democrat candidates based on the Obama-Reid record?
Or are you sticking to sharing Alice in Wonderland quotes for the foreseeable future? While the world burns and food stamp usage surges?
I’m with Rush: this is an historic opportunity to renew our fight for black vote. New leaders like Tim Scott and Mia Love have a story to tell. Cory is, as one of my FB friends remarked, all sizzle and no steak.
FYI – Republican Bill Cassidy is widely expected to win the run-off, leading by almost 16-points in the RealClearPolitics polling average.
