Christie: immigration reform “not the first priority” for next Congress (VIDEO)

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

Some well-deserved post-election chest-thumping (and a few other items of interest – immigration reform, Common Core, etc.) from Thursday’s monthly ‘Ask the Governor’ segment on NJ 101.5. Tons of sound bites to keep’em chattering. And for the record, I wholeheartedly agree with his no cell phone until 14 rule for kids:

  1. He should say that we don’t need reform, we simply need to enforce the law, but we don’t enforce the law in NJ, so he’d never say that.

  2. Christie lied to the caller who said his office would have gotten back to her, At least over a year ago I wrote to him, and emailed him twice, about Common Core being implemented inNJ and I got NO Respose! I then called his office and spoke about to a woman who said she would” pass it on” and get back to me. To this day I have never gotten a response from him or his office. I did receive a letter back from Robert Menedez within 2 weeks. Not the response I was looking for, but at least he wrote back and gave his point of view, of which I did not agree, but at least he acknowledged his constituency. Chris Christie is an arrogant, self serving Progressive politician who believes in big government rule over the people. He is an empty barrel with a loud noise. No substance!
