I have almost nothing in common with our current crop of New Jersey elected officials, Save Jerseyans. I realize more and more with every passing day.
For starters… when am I allowed to die? And which lives matter? Which don’t? I believe government exists primarily to protect our right to live, own property and prosper. I’m not sure what these assholes believe anymore, if anything.
Exhibit A: U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-Twitter) is the latest pol to get his panties in a bunch over a pork gestation crate legislative push that was sidelined by Governor Christie’s veto pen in Summer 2013 but still won’t go away.
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated,” preached Booker, quoting Mahatma Gandhi, on his Facebook page. “I hope this bill becomes a law and ends a truly inhumane practice in my home state of New Jersey.
Sigh…
In any event, please keep in mind: this is the same guy who enthusiastically backs abortion-on-demand, even supporting late term abortions, and whose party (infamous for trying to take every last liberty away from us when we’re actually alive) just overwhelming voted to endorse a euthanasia legalization scheme which will inevitably lead to sick persons being snuffed out without their consent.
One hundred pills being shoved down grandma’s gullet? Or a vacuum sucking out the brain of a 13-week old baby? The Democrat Party is here to help… with tax dollars.
But pigs??? In crates??? Holy crap! We need to act. Yesterday.
What the hell is wrong with these people? Who knows. Bad parenting maybe. Either way, I find it increasingly difficult to write about them, much less relate to them on meaningful level, because they disgust me so, both because of their ghoulish instincts but also due to the frighteningly giant disconnect between their apparently emotional (and therefore manipulative) decision-making and the studied logic that voters should demand of their elected officials.
Won’t link.
@Roger Try again.
Considering the amount of use in NJ, this bill is pure nonsense.
