Quinnipiac Poll: Christie approval rating is waaay upside down

By The Staff | The Save Jersey Blog

New Jersey voters disapprove of their Governor’s job performance by a 18-point margin, 56% to 38%, according to the results of a brand new Quinnipiac poll, Save Jerseyans.

It gets worse:

41 – 52 percent that he is honest and trustworthy;
41 – 56 percent that he cares about their needs and problems;
34 – 57 percent approval for his handling of the economy and jobs;
34 – 56 percent for handling education;
32 – 59 percent for handling the state budget.

“The governor’s job approval hits a new low and voters think his presidential ambitions are distracting him from his day job,”  said Quinnipiac University Poll Assistant Director Maurice Carroll. “Besides, they don’t think he’d be a good president.”

  1. Disapprove – he should have upheld his end of the pension reform and funded the pensions as promised.

  2. Stealing people’s pension money and giving it to your criminal friends on Wall Street while simultaneously telling the workers you’re blatantly stealing from that they’re the problem will hurt you in the credibility department just a little…..

  6. Problem with pensions is they’re subject to the market ( wall srreet) and greedy government workers want them funded no matter what. States go broke trying to fund them with revenue.

  8. The dems made promises they couldn’t keep, after all they would be gone in 8 years and it would be somebody else’s problem and in the meanwhile they can just go to the general fund and pay the people retiring and raise taxes and raise taxes and raise taxes…. Get the picture?

    One day, somebody else will get left holding the bag. Guess who’s holding the bag?

    Anybody here a state worker? I’m not getting a pension, I’m almost 101% sure that I won’t get social security, what makes state workers so special? The BS that they sacrifice salary for stability and the pension is out the window. they make as much money as they would anyplace else, and they get to retire much earlier and take the pension, and social security. does that really sound fair?

    Oh and I forgot they have a union. Most of the rest of us don’t, not that I like unions anyway.

  10. The left leaning non bias media is doing a good job trashing everyone who could challenge Hillary’s buying of the presidency 2016.
