Recently, Takata Corporation of Japan came under fire for installing defective airbags in anywhere from 11 million to 50 million vehicles resulting in the deaths of as many as a half dozen people and the injury of about a hundred others. This was a big story because no one should have to die because of a defective airbag.
So why should hundreds die and thousands suffer injury due to a defective immigration policy?
We all know of the case of Kate Steinle, who was killed simply walking with her father when an illegal alien shot her. That alien, Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez, had been arrested more than a half dozen times and deported from the U.S. five times. He returned a sixth and hid in plain sight in the city by the Bay because San Francisco is a “sanctuary city,” one in which illegal aliens are not reported to immigration. But Steinle’s murder, sadly, is the tip of the iceberg.
According to United States Sentencing Commission statistics, illegal aliens accounted for a staggering 27,505 federal sentences for crimes last year – 36.7% of all cases! Illegals represented 16.8% of drug trafficking offenses, 20% of kidnapping/hostage taking offenses, 74.1% of drug possessions and 12% of all murders.
These numbers are staggering when compared to the relatively few deaths and injuries due to defective air bags. If the air bags had killed hundreds of people and injured thousands, heads would roll. But the only news we hear about illegals right now is the hell that the media is giving real estate mogul and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for stating that America’s southern border needs to be secured to prevent illegals from coming to America.
Think about that for a moment.
Illegal aliens are killing hundreds, injuring thousands, bringing in drugs and costing America millions in court processing and incarceration funds and the media is ripping Trump for simply stating the facts.
I live in Middlesex County, New Jersey. We have one of America’s highest populations of Asian immigrants from India living in the county. The most frequent last names of the approximately 470,000 registered voters here are “Patel,” with 9,383 (up from 7,410 in 2010), and “Shah,” with 2,405. These are likely people who are not multigenerational Americans; they’re legal immigrants.
If people can come to America from India legally, why can’t Mexicans who choose to come illegally simply return and wait their turn to come here legally? And why is Trump a pariah for suggesting so?
We are a nation of laws, and we have immigration laws in place. How does our government fail to protect us by allowing sanctuary cities to exist? Our government cracks down on a Japanese airbag company for killing 6, but encourages the existence of sanctuary cities for illegal aliens when illegals have killed hundreds.
It’s inexcusable. Americans know it and are fed up by it, which is probably why Trump has been gaining in popularity in the polls despite his checkered record as a businessman.

He spoke the truth! He will not sit down and take it anymore. He is expressing what many of us feel and would love to say. Good for him. The PC police can’t take it because they cannot control him. Which is exactly what they are after, Control. I love it.Even if he doesn’t make it, hopefully he has shown the cowards the way.

The problem is that people are spinning to claim he was talking about ALL mexicans who come to this country whether they came here legally or illegally. Tony Baloney’s in Atlantic City even made a statement the other day claiming that Trump was banned from their restaurants because of his disparaging remarks against “Mexican-Americans” Since illegal immigrants aren’t American, they can’t be “Mexican-Americans”.
Most of the other Republican candidates don’t help matters because they go along with the media narrative and when asked about it, trash his statement instead of pointing out that he was referring to the problem we have with ILLEGAL immigration and was NOT referring to those who have come over legally.
As long as Republicans allow the media to control the narrative and portray republicans as racist, instead of calling them out on it, that is the way people will think of the party.
Republicans support LEGAL immgration and following our laws, but the media routinely leaves out the word “ILLEGAL” when talking about what Republicans are against.
He was wrong. This is bad branding for the GOP to a group of people who share ALL of our values. All of em. They’re hugely pro life. They’re hugely pro working for a living. They’re only democrats because people like him make the GOP sound like racists.
He was impolitic. If he lead with most are good, but, I don’t think it would have been as big of a problem. However, I think people were mostly looking for an excuse to get him.

As a buisness man he had a couple mishaps but learned his mistakes and built them back up .All that makes him is human like all of us. And last the immigration problem blame it on the DEMOCRATS because thats their biggest voting pool..get most of their voters

Trump is absolutely correct however, its not what you say, its how you say it. And in this regard it couldnt be more critical. If he changes his tact he just might convince people that he is worthy of the presidency. If he doesnt, he could blow it for the GOP. Fair enough???

Is there an illegal immigration problem? Of course there is and has been for decades. That being said to position yourself like Trump did is absolutely ridiculous. Its not a matter of him not being PC or standing up for himself. Its a matter of him not giving a shit about anybody but himself and he couldn’t fucking careless if he is a candidate or not. If you think that the Mexican government is deliberately sending its criminals across the border, you’re just an idiot. I can’t even be kind about it. When Cubans started coming here seeking refuge after the Revolution, was it Castro sending Cuba’s criminals to our shores? Of course not. Did some of them just happen to be criminals, sure they did.
Mexican, Central and South American refugees, like Cubans before them, are victims of their corrupt, abusive governments and are risking life and limb in search of a better life for themselves and their families.
