11 reasons NOT to vote in November

By Synnove Bakke | The Save Jersey Blog

1. You simply LOVE how high your property taxes are.

2. You don’t care if NJ’s debt is so unsustainable and high that it’ll be on the backs of your children to pay back in form of even HIGHER taxes.

3. You don’t care that your children and future children will not be able to afford to raise their own families in NJ.

4. You don’t care that politicians on both sides of the isle have broken their pension obligations to our dear teachers and hero cops and done nothing to fix the mess for years on end.

5. al bundyUnlike our experienced teachers, and many local school districts, you think our schools should be run by federal Government in the form of the messy and experimental Common Core and the very controversial testing of our children.

6. You don’t care about the unequal Abbot schools redistributing of your taxes and that you have to give up part of your taxes to schools in other districts.

7. You think answers to all your problems will be solved by sitting politicians who are puppets of lobbyists and not your every day hard working person like you.

8. You actually believe the in charge majority Democrats of NJ are not taking paybacks and work hard to make your hard earned tax dollars stretch.

9. You believe in one-party rule, and no checks and balances and think its swell that the Democrats have had majority going on 15 years in both legislative houses. Make that 20 years in LD18.

10. You will gladly pay more for gas in form of higher gas taxes.

11. You’re comfy lying on your couch watching reality shows while a select few choose who represents your voice and makes decisions about your hard earned tax dollars and your family’s future.

But if NONE of those reasons apply to you, Save Jerseyans, we have great news: there’s an election on November 3rd 2015 and, if you show up, chances are your life and future could improve.

  1. 14. Because one party should NOT stay in power for decades. Good thing to clean house periodically. Not that this would happen in bluer then blue NJ.
