Christie will be on the ballot in 2017 after all?

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

New Jersey governors can’t serve more than two consecutive terms, so even if he wasn’t in polling purgatory, Save Jerseyans, Chris Christie wouldn’t be on the ballot in 2017.

But he will. In a sense.

The early stages of Steve Sweeney‘s own campaign have revolved around overriding the Governor to curry favor with liberal base voters. Corzine clone Phil Murphy, for his part, is advertising online by attacking Christie’s record including Christie’s rejection of the poorly-named Democracy Act:

We’ll wait patiently for a new idea from these jokers, one that doesn’t involve more taxing/spending/borrowing. I expect to be waiting for awhile. Forever, in fact.

  1. Why should there be early voting? Everyone knows when the elections are – or should know. The polls are open late and if people want to “vote early” they can get a mail in ballot. As is stated – this is all Democrat nonsense yet they stand in the way of requiring ID’s and proving who you are in order to vote.

Also – you know how much this will cost NJ to keep the polls manned and open?
