Gov. Chris Christie is doubling-down as the 2016 GOP Primary’s anti-Paul candidate, Save Jerseyans, calling on Congress to re-up the controversial National Security Agency (NSA) metadata program before Christmas.
“The American people elected Republicans in Congress to the majority to get things done and they can do something vital to protect the lives and security of the American people by restoring the National Security Agency’s metadata collection program and tying it to the upcoming spending bill,” said Christie in a statement released by his campaign. “The end of the metadata program has made America weaker and more vulnerable. The San Bernardino terrorist attack should prove to everyone just how exposed we are as a nation. If Republicans in Congress really want to do something to protect American families, they should fight for the restoration of the metadata program and not take no for any answer. It’s the most important job they have and they should right this wrong by doing it before they leave Washington for Christmas.”
Bulk collections by the intelligence agency, commenced during the Bush era, ended on November 29th.

NO!
Why, all of these programs have given us what. Didn’t catch the Boston Bombers, didn’t stop the California shootings. Want to spend the money correctly, boots on the ground, cops doing detective work
No.
This guy is a fraud. Zero credibility on 2A now zero credibility on 4A.
“HELL NO, We Won’t Go” and Vote for a Big (Fat) Brother in 2016!
Unequivocally no!
nay
Immediately ban ALL Mohammedans from immigrating to the U.S. and have the NSA collect data on any and all Mohammedans residing in the U.S.
Absolutely not, having more of our personal information has not made the world a saver place. We honestly need to start getting our privacy back from the feds as opposed to giving them more data.
What a remarkable turn of events to have this entire thread comment now. 5 years ago we would have begged the government to keep us safe. Now we know better. Makes me happy
