There isn’t much that’s predictable about Election 2016 but for this, Save Jerseyan: nothing is ever going to be the same. Understatement? Probably.
That’s no less true for the new media, and no particular case has provided a more dramatic example than the turmoil over at Breitbart where resigning editor Ben Shapiro slammed his former employer this week as “Trump’s personal Pravda” (a reference to the notorious Russian propaganda publication).
Where would the late, great Andrew Breitbart have fallen in the epic Trump-induced civil war raging throughout the ranks of the Right?
We don’t have to imagine. We know from an interview recorded about one year before the new media pioneer passed away:
…Of course, he’s not a conservative. He was for Nancy Pelosi, before he was against Nancy Pelosi…celebrity is everything in this country if these guys don’t learn how to play the media the way Barack Obama played the media last election cycle and the way that Donald Trump is playing the election cycle–we’re going to probably get a celebrity candidate.”

If you really want to save jersey jump off a bridge
I’m so tired of all the monument-polishers coming out against Trump. What do you want? A Hillary cakewalk?
Gee, Matt R00ney…I’ve been able to post a comment on other posts, but not on this one – at least not the words I’ve chosen to write. What I basically wrote is that karma is a difficult thing and that we reap what we sow. Could it be that you can’t stand to see certain words in print?
Are you THAT thin skinned?
Apparently you are. I guess it hurts to be haunted by the creature you created.
