Former Assemblyman Paul DiGaetano‘s challenge to Bergen County Republican Chairman Bob Yudin is only a little under a month away, Save Jerseyans, but the challenge became official on Tuesday night at the last county committee meeting before BCRO members pass judgment on the candidates
The culmination of the evening came when Yudin and DiGaetano (see the photo the right) were forced into close proximity as the challenger handed in his petitions.
DiGaetano also unveiled his leadership team:
Deputy Chair: Anna Baldino (Paramus)
Deputy Vice-Chair: Brendan Quinones (Rutherford)
Secretary: Betty Krystyniak (Dumont)
Assistant Secretary: Janice Cassella (East Rutherford)
Treasurer: Ed Johnson (Westwood)
Assistant Treasurer: Celeste Scavetta-Homaychak (New Milford)
Sergeant-at-Arms: Ray Herr (Bogota)
Parliamentarian: Mike Ryan (Harrington Park)
The chairman’s race began to take on a formal tone last week when DiGaetano and his allies hosted a formal launch at the Greycliff in Moonachie.
