The national race is close, Save Jerseyans, but former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by double digits in the Garden State, 48% to 37%, according to Fairleigh Dickinson’s latest PublicMind polling results.
Bernie Sanders actually does even better, besting the Donald 57% to 33%.
“Even though it’s difficult to imagine a scenario in which Sanders would become the Democratic nominee, he’s clearly the preferred candidate in our Democratic leaning state,” opined Krista Jenkins, professor of political science and director of PublicMind.
