Bernie Sanders’s wife is as bad a manager as her husband is a kooky economist, Save Jerseyans.
“…Burlington College in Vermont announced it would close May 27 because of “the crushing weight of the debt” Bernie Sanders’ wife, Jane O’Meara Sanders, who served as the president of Burlington College, incurred when she took out $10 million in loans on behalf of the college which it couldn’t repay,” it was reported last month. “Don’t worry about Jane Sanders, though, she received a $200,000 severance package merely one year after she paved the path for the college’s ruin.”
She’s got the reverse Midas Touch!
All the same, humility isn’t in high supply in academic circles; that’s likely why Jane Sanders dropped by Bill Spadea‘s drive-time NJ 101.5 radio program on Wednesday ahead of next week’s June 7th Democrat Primary and, despite her dismal personal track record of money management, proceeded to lecture New Jersey on how to fix its pension system.
“They could have made that amount of money into the payment pensions,” she said, referring to $728 million in investment fees collected by fund managers. “Hedge funds managers making this kind of money off the backs of the people that are working for a living, providing public services doesn’t seem too smart.”
It’s like a bad joke…
