Back before he was a Trump super fan, Save Jerseyans, Chris Christie was a strong critic of some of the Donald’s less lovable outbursts.
Notably? When he mocked a NYT reporter’s disability.
“He shouldn’t be making fun of people with disabilities,” Christie declared in a televised interview. “It’s just not worthy of someone running for the president of the United States.”
“He’s got to answer for himself,” the Governor added at the time. “Part of the folly of all this is that we’re answering for him. He’s said what’s he’s said, and now the people who vote will have to judge him. In the context of Donald, outrageous is a high bar.”
Well, the video clip made it into a Democrat National Convention (DNC) video on Monday night, one which was followed by an address from a disabled speaker who tongue-lashed Trump and praised Hillary Clinton to raucous applause from the convention’s stage.
Monday night’s DNC is headlined by Bernie Sanders and Cory Booker.
