Anti-casino expansion forces enlist Einstein for new TV spot

TRENTON, N.J. — The camp opposed to this November’s casino expansion ballot question, represented by the ‘Trenton’s Bad Bet’ campaign, is out with yet another television ad, Save Jerseyans, this time with help from one of Princeton, New Jersey’s most famous former residents.

The ad, titled ‘Einstein,’ debuted during Sunday night’s Giants home opener and features an actor’s portrayal of Albert Einstein in a skit based on the legendary physicist’s “Definition of Insanity” quote.

It’s the latest salvo in what will be a multi-million dollar air war between forces battling over the historic casino expansion question’s fate.

Watch:

SCRIPT:

Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.

Hey, I’m no Einstein. But I’m smart enough to know you can’t trust Trenton politicians to keep their promises.

And their North Jersey casino plan? Well that’s more of the same.

I’ve seen this movie before: the special interests get rich…

The casinos fail…

And we have to pay the price with yet another bailout.

North Jersey casinos are a sucker’s bet. Vote no.
