Our Mission
New Jersey is at a crossroads. N.J. taxpayers and small business owners, burdened by unparalleled tax burdens and regulations, are being forced to surrender the American Dream or leave their native state for greener pastures. No one should have to make that decision.
In recognition of these grave realities and stark challenges, Save Jersey will
present an alternative narrative to the reigning school of thought dominating our state's warped political culture. Most Trenton politicians insist that bigger and
more intrusive government is always the answer to societal ills. We will
argue that a smaller, more affordable and accountable government is the best answer to the
problems facing New Jersey’s over-regulated and over-taxed citizenry. Save Jersey
will utilize the power of the Internet to breathe new life into the state’s
two-party system and energize a weary population to fight back and save their
state.
New Jersey’s official state motto - "Liberty
and Prosperity" -
should be more than a rhetorically pleasing slogan. We must work together to make liberty and prosperity a
reality for every citizen.
Our Goals
1.) Provide an open online forum for citizens committed to lowering taxes,
reducing the size and scope of government and routing out corruption at every
level.
2.) Develop a network able to provide pro-limited government, pro-growth and anti-corruption individuals and entities with the netroots
resources required to affect real change in New Jersey.
3.) Lead the Garden State toward a new era of fresh thinking in which politicians and citizens alike
remain steadfastly committed to lower taxes and smaller, more affordable
government.
