Looking for an entertaining way to get over your Hump Day, Save Jerseyans?

Philly radio host Dom Giordano is hosting a radio debate between CD3 GOP primary contenders Tom MacArthur and Steve Lonegan today (Wednesday 5/21) at 10 AM.

It’s the only scheduled debate before the June 3rd primary, and given the fact that MacArthur is currently suing the Lonegan campaign for defamation and Lonegan is calling MacArthur a “monster,” I think you can count on today’s exchange being anything but boring! Dom IS taking call-in questions, too…

  1. I listened. MacArthur was not as stiff and robotic as I expected him to be. I like his stances on including tort reform and interstate competition in health insurance reform. Both have mayoral records that were either stellar examples of conservatism or extremely liberal tax and spend records, depending on who you talk to. Ultimately, I’m basing my decision on who has been a stronger advocate for battling tax hikes and attempting to stop Obamacare, along with my opinion of those who have let their opinions be known by making endorsements in this race. Based on that, my vote goes to Steve Lonegan.

  2. MacArthur seems like a really nice guy, however he will be another Boehner puppet in the Congress. I can’t see him fighting for anything I truly care about. For that reason I will be voting for Steve Lonegan.

  3. We don’t need any more moderate congressmen from our district that don’t speak up for the important issues. Lonegan will stand up for our values, like he has for the past few decades. Will MacArthur? Probably not. I cast my vote for Lonegan, and I refuse to vote for moderates that buy endorsements and take orders from Bill Leyton. Plus, the guy never released his tax returns and lied about Lonegan during the debate on NJTV. Lonegan all the way.

  4. Also, Matt, your MacArthur bias is showing. Try using an updated picture of Lonegan instead of one you know is unflattering.
