I meant to follow the redistricting process but its simply really out of the GOP’s hands – the Dems are probably going to get a map that’s favorable to them. However, we may get lucky with some areas. Regardless, the NJGOP will need to work 100-times harder than the Dems to win in November.
Anyway here are some prelim maps:
- Republicans’ proposed legislative district map also pits Democrats, Republicans against others of their party | NJ.com
- Proposed Democratic redistricting map pits party members against each other, Sen. Codey against GOP | NJ.com
- Tea party group to demonstrate in support of map they submitted to N.J. redistricting commission | NJ.com
The Republicans are hardly losing. When Democrats keep changing every hour and pit two warhorses against each other they don't look put together.
The "Peoples Map" aka tea party map is a very good map!

Hey Off – I'm just cynical after 10+ years of lost power and missed opportunities. This is NJ where we need to work our butts off regardless what we get in the process.
