Three Republican county chairmen lost their positions this June, but Monmouth Republicans stayed the course on Thursda night.
Monmouth County’s Sheriff Shaun Golden easily won another term as county GOP chairman, defeating Marlboro’s Renzo Kolenovic 361-83 (79%-18%).
Former Freeholder Gary Rich endorsed Kolenovic and withdrew from the race but still attracted 15 votes.
