Musk criticizes new N.J. law ending basic skills test for teachers

New Jersey is no longer requiring its teachers to pass a basic skills test as of January 1st, Save Jerseyans.

The head-scratching development caught the attention of none other than Elon Musk who didn’t hold back in a Sunday X post, mockingly joking “[s]o teachers don’t need to know how to read in New Jersey? Seems like that would make it challenging to teach kids how to read.”
