Did the dead vote in New Jersey last year?
According to New Jersey Citizens for New Jersey Election Integrity (C4NJEI), a watchdog group, they’ve referred evidence of “voter irregularities” to the Department of Justice including “cases of deceased voters casting ballots and individual voters casting more than one ballot.” The group says it relied upon commercial death data service, the voter rolls, and public death records.
“Election integrity is the cornerstone of democracy,” said Mark Demo, director of C4NJEI. “We are committed to ensuring that every vote cast is valid and that public trust in our elections is maintained.”
For example, C4NJEI reports 465 mail-in ballots out of 820,000 analyzed were cast by a voter who was deceased before Election Day. 120 of those were dead before their ballot was received while the other 324 were dead either after or on the day that their ballot was received. Twenty (20) of 179,000 voters age 84 or older were also allegedly deceased.
