ELECTION 2025: Pressler draws huge crowd in “blue” N.J. county

The signs are everywhere, Save Jerseyans.

Kamala Harris won 60.90% of the vote in Union County last November, down from 67.01% in 2020 and 65.94% in 2016. The blue North Jersey outpost in the shadow of New York City is ground zero of an undercurrent that’s moving New Jersey from “blue” to purple status as Election 2025 gets officially underway. Yes, the suburbs are still pretty woke, but not nearly as hopeless as recent cycles while the state’s rural, exurban, and urban regions are shifting decidedly to the right.

Consider the following…

Over the weekend, GOP cult icon Scott Pressler visit the Union County Republican Party and was met by the sort of audience you don’t expect to see at a Republican event until the weekend before a general election… if ever?

“On a cold Saturday in February, we trained HUNDREDS of Republicans in Union County, NJ,” Pressler said of the Kenilworth crowd on X. “We are going to flip the New Jersey governorship from this November. The energy is undeniable!”

Pressler previously pledged to ply his voter registration talents in New Jersey over the coming months, but the trend has been underway going back to early 2021. Consider the following: Jack Ciattarelli fell only 84,286 votes shy of defeating Phil Murphy four years ago. Over the following four years, New Jersey added 145,611 registered Republican voters across all 21 counties while New Jersey Democrats have lost a net of 41,244. Notwithstanding the fact that they still boast a strong overall edge in voter registration, Democrats may face a math problem in 2025 if the general trend continues.

For now, Republican enthusiasm should unnerve smart Leftists paying attention to the tea leaves…
