Alina Habba is hitting the ground running in New Jersey, Save Jerseyans.
“Today I have instructed my team that violence against law enforcement will not be tolerated in the great State of New Jersey,” the newly-minted interim U.S. Attorney declared on X earlier Monday. “I don’t care how old you are. You will be prosecuted to the fullest extent under Federal law.”
President Trump’s former White House Counsel, Habba was sworn in as interim U.S. Attorney in an Oval Office ceremony on Friday. Habba has pledged to focus on addressing New Jersey’s spike in violent crime and stubborn culture of corruption.
New Jersey law presently provides that a juvenile under 15 cannot be prosecuted as an adult.
Recently, a 14-year-old was arrested related to the slaying of Newark Police Sergeant Joseph Azcona which reignited a debate in the Garden State over the law should be changed,
