A teenage Bloods gang member was nabbed Wednesday in a multi-agency raid in Newark that’s targeting three other alleged shooters — with newly minted Interim New Jersey US Attorney Alina Habba in tow.
The Post witnessed the arrest of Zakiyy Houser, 18, a gangbanger with a history of weapons charges wanted for aggravated assault after an incident in which he allegedly shot two people.
Twenty-two agents from the US Marshals, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and local law enforcement were joined by Habba — President Trump’s attorney who got a front-row seat to the action.
“What an amazing day with our law enforcement- U.S Marshalls and NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force,” Habba reported via X. “Hit the streets hard in my great state of NJ from 5am-12pm with these unsung heroes. Happy to report a trifecta in arrests today: gangs, pedos, and a subject wanted for an assault on an officer.”
Habba, formerly White House Counsel, was sworn in by President Trump last Friday to serve as interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey which covers the entire state. In her initial public comments since the announcement of her appointment was made, Habba swore to tackle rampant crime and corruption in the Garden State, a “Sanctuary” jurisdiction per a first term policy adopted by the Murphy Administration and policed by the attorney general…
