Is that the game, Save Jerseyans? It may very well be.
President Donald Trump ended months of speculation on Monday evening by endorsing Jack Ciattarelli, the party’s 2021 nominee, in the race for New Jersey governor.
“Jack Ciattarelli is a terrific America First Candidate running to be the next Governor of a State that I love, NEW JERSEY!” the President wrote on X.
Ciattarelli and his prime rival for the GOP nomination, former radio host Bill Spadea, have been locked in an all-out fight to secure the coveted backing of the Republican Party’s leader. Spadea’s hopes reached their zenith last May when then-candidate Trump joined him on air and offered warm praise. The race within a race culminated several months later in a March Bedminster scramble when Ciattarelli secured a sitdown with Trump and Elon Musk while Spadea was reportedly relegated to a brief encounter outside of the gold club grill.
Meanwhile, Spadea has had trouble gaining traction in fundraising and in polling position. A brand new unrefuted Ciattarelli internal poll showed the ex-Assemblyman leading Spadea by 31-points.

Monday’s presidential endorsement is also a big W for New Jersey native pollster Kellyanne Conway, leader of the anti-Spadea super pac “Kitchen Table Conservatives.” The longtime Trump advisor predicted that Trump would ultimately back Ciattarelli during an early April press call.
“I think the odds are that he does. If I were a betting woman, I’d say that he endorses and he endorses Ciattarelli,” Conway explained, adding that it was likely only a matter of when.
“Jack Ciattarelli is a WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement – HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, ELECT JACK CIATTARELLI!” added the President.
