President Trump is standing by his interim U.S. Attorney’s decision to charge sitting Congresswoman LaMonica McIver.
“Give me a break. Did you see her? She was out of control! She was shoving federal agents,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday. “The days of that crap are over! We’re going to have law and order!”
McIver, a Democrat from New Jersey, facing two counts related to an alleged assault that occurred earlier this month at an ICE detainment facility in Newark, New Jersey:
