Trenton rarely does the “right” thing, Save Jerseyans, but from time to time, they back off of (or forestall) doing the wrong thing for political reasons.
Here’s an example: on Thursday, pro-parental choice activists descended upon the State House and Democrats decided to pull S1796, legislation designed to impose new regulations on New Jersey homeschooling parents.
“Thanks for all those who came out as well as those responding to our Action Alerts and the alerts of the parental rights coalition,” opined the New Jersey Family Policy Center. “A win for today.”
We’ll keep an eye out for any attempt to resurrect it.
