VIDEO: Ted Cruz embarrasses Spartacus at Senate hearing

Ted Cruz and Cory Booker went at it on Tuesday, Save Jerseyans, in a heated exchange which didn’t end well for New Jersey’s senior senator. The dust up transpired at a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee hearing titled “The Supposedly Least Dangerous Branch: District Judges v. Trump.”

The senators went back-and-forth over responsibility for threats against federal judges.

“I’m simply taking issue with the claim that you made at the top, that people on the Democratic side of the aisle do not care about the safety and the security of judges and said nothing,” whined Booker, insisting that the notion that he and his party did nothing following threats against Republican-appointed Supreme Court justices “is a patent lie.”

“Let the record reflect that Spartacus did not answer the question and did not tell us whether the criminal law” pursuant to U.S.C. Section 1507, ‘Picketing or parading,’ would be appropriately enforced, “because he knows the answer is yes.”
