Van Drew signs onto Massie’s “Epstein List” legislation as a co-sponsor

President Donald Trump’s closest elected ally in New Jersey has announced that he’s co-sponsoring legislation which would require the release of the so-called “Epstein List.” The primary sponsor of the bill is Rep. Thomas Massie, Trump’s arch-rival in the U.S. House and one of only two Republicans to oppose the Big Beautiful Bill.

“The American people deserve full transparency,” said Van Drew in an X post.

Meanwhile, the President vocally slammed those beating the Epstein drum during a Wednesday morning Oval Office press availability.

“They’re wasting their time with a guy who DlED 3 or 4 years ago,” Trump said, adding “[t]hese are stupid people… it’s a democrat hoax.”

Trump offered similar comments via his Truth Social platform., declaring that those perpetuating the Epstein storyline are no longer his supporters.

“I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” added Trump. “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Team Trump is already preparing to primary Massie ahead of next year’s midterm elections.

Van Drew, who has rallied with Trump twice in Wildwood after switching parties over impeachment in 2019, was praised by Trump just 24 hours ago for his efforts in opposing offshore wind development.
