The N.J. Democrat voter registration edge is now 200k+ smaller than in 2021

Elections ultimately boil down to a math problem, Save Jerseyans.

You need 50% + 1 to win.

The math is there for Republicans in 2025 if everyone does their part.

We got the new July 2025 voter registration data on Friday morning. It’s promising. Unaffiliated registrations jumped (+12,256) but the partisan comparison is the relevant one for gauging enthusiasm: Republicans picked up another net 1,651 registrations while Democrat shed 2,401. That’s been the overall trend since Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021 with a slight reveral in June 2025 owing to a competitive Democrat gubernatorial primary.

What’s another 4,052 registered voter swing in the GOP’s favor mean for the larger picture?

There are now 158,826 more registered Republicans and 42,589 FEWER Democrats in New Jersey today than there were on November 1, 2021. That’s a greater than 200,000 registered voter swing away from Democrats over the last four years. And keep this in mind: while Democrats still have a roughly 800,000 statewide edge, Jack Ciattarelli lost in 2021 by only 84,286 votes.

And there’s more: President Trump pulled in 87,000 more votes from just Bergen County in 2024 than Republicans were able to rustle up in 2021. Apples and oranges? Maybe, but the point remains…

Victory in November is 100% mathematically possible.

BELIEVE.
