Things keep getting wackier in Trenton, Save Jerseyans. You get what you pay for… or, in this case, vote for.
Next up: a “sleep tax” emerged from committee this week in the General Assembly. The single “no” vote was Asm. Jay Webber (R-26) who explained why A1651 is a slap in taxpayers’ face:
Now a *Sleep Tax* out of Trenton? 🤦♂️
The idea: you pre-pay now for removal of your mattress 15 yrs from now. Even if your sky-high property taxes already cover garbage removal.
Welcome to NJ, where they even find a way to tax your sleep. 🙄
