Analilia Mejia is a socialist. That’s a problem unto itself, Save Jerseyans.
What’s arguably worse is her decision to lie about it at Wednesday night’s NJ-11 congressional debate pitting the radical Democrat against her opponent, Republican Joe Hathaway.
“This is a simple choice, one of practical leadership or radical socialism,” Hathaway said towards the end of the debate, noting that Mejia previously referred to Jesus as socialist. Specifically, back in 2016, Mejia wrote on X that “Jesus was likely a Democratic Socialist.”
Mejia floundered a bit at this point, citing Bible verses which purportedly prove – or at least support – her point about Jesus.
Here’s Hathaway in his own words:
.@HathawayForNJ11 said it best.
This race is about two very different visions – radical ideology vs. practical leadership that actually serves people.
Jersey families deserve the latter. pic.twitter.com/DzkA0z67U8
