CNBC uses abortion, “inclusiveness” to pump up N.J.’s “live and work” rank

New Jersey regularly finds itself at the bottom of every state-level comparative list, Save Jerseyans, but CNBC’s recently-released list of the 10 “best” states to live in and work bucked the trend.

The Garden State is #3!

How?

“It’s no joke,” CNBC explains. “The Garden State is one of America’s most inclusive, with broad protections against discrimination, and among the nation’s strongest guarantees of reproductive freedom. New Jersey is one of America’s safest states, according to FBI crime data. Its violent crime rate is among the lowest in the nation.”

You’ll note there’s nothing in there about cost of living which most people would consider a dispositive measure of a state’s quality of living; New Jersey’s cost of living is among the highest in the entire nation. In an apparent attempt to get around the obivious, the network’s bizarre list heavily weights things like abortion access.
