
New Jersey’s budget is roughly twice as large today as it was when Chris Christie left office in January 2018. While legacy expenses (pension and benefits obligations) play a large role, Save Jerseyans, pork spending is also bloating the expense sheet of America’s most consistently over-taxed state.
On Sunday night – 48 hours before Governor Murphy delivers his final budget address on Tuesday – Assemblyman Mike Inganamort (R-24) joined The Matt Rooney Show to discuss his sponsorship of a state version of DOGE and drop some ridiculous examples of wasteful Trenton spending on the 1210 WPHT audience.
