Ciattarelli launches $2M ad buy on NYC, Philly TV

The fall air war has officially begun, Save Jerseyans.

On Tuesday, the campaign of Republican nominee Jack Ciattarelli launched a two week, approximately $2 million ad buy split between the New York and Philadelphia television markets. Titled simply “Time to Fix NJ,” the 30-second spot is equally direct and to-the-point.

“We all know it: New Jersey’s a mess. And all Mikie Sherrill wants to talk about is Donald Trump. Come on,” exclaims Ciattarelli from a diner booth. “What does the president have to do with rising property taxes and higher electric bills? New Jersey’s a mess because out-of-touch politicians like Phil Murphy and Mikie Sherrill care more about pronouns and sanctuary cities than solving our problems.”

Sherrill is spending most of her time outside of the bunker playing the “Orange Man Bad” card in a transparent attempt to avoid being tagged with Phil Murphy’s horrendous governing record while simultaneously motivating the Left’s rabidly anti-Trump base.

You should expect to see plenty of additional ads throughout September. The Democrat Governors Association is expected to spend $20 million on the air in support of Sherrill; meanwhile, Politico is reporting that the RGA set up a Super PAC of its own – Restore New Jersey – with the apparent attempt to join the fray. The RGA’s expenditures would join those of the pro-Ciattarelli “Change NJ” PAC led by Kellyanne Conway which is already running digital spots in the Garden State.

Here’s Jack’s spot:
